"We have worked with Natalie across many projects over the past 15 years, and she has a rare ability to truly see the people she is working with. She connects naturally with the women and people we bring together, creating a space where everyone can be themselves, be curious and find their own way into movement.
Natalie never arrives with a choreography that is simply placed upon a group. She looks, listens and notices. She sees the beauty, possibility and individuality within a cohort, as well as within each person, and this becomes the starting point for her work. Ideas, movement and choreography emerge from the people themselves — from their stories, their relationships, their energy and the unexpected moments that happen along the way.
Collaboration is at the heart of Natalie’s practice. She works alongside the women themselves and in dialogue with the wider creative team, responding to and shaping ideas together rather than working in isolation. There is a generosity to the way she collaborates — an openness to other people’s creativity, ideas and ways of seeing, which allows the work to keep evolving and surprising.
Her creativity, innovation and deep skill as a facilitator mean that the process is always meaningful, authentic and inspiring. She has a wonderful ability to find what is already there and help it grow into something unexpected and beautiful. And because the final piece has emerged from that genuine, collaborative process, rather than being imposed upon it, the work we create together feels alive, honest and completely connected to the people who made it."

"'Natalie worked with our large community cast as a movement director on our witch trials play 'Rope and Flame'. She swiftly earned the trust of all of our actors putting them quickly at ease and becoming an integral part of the creative team, helping actors to navigate the movement language of the 17th Century and present day.
Professional, intuitive, creative and playful, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend anyone to work with Natalie - in fact I'm working with her on my next professional show.. a 5 person actor- musician musical.
She's an instinctive collaborator and I enjoy being in the rehearsal room with her - she's so supportive to a director. "

"Natalie led the community performers in the 2025 Moonraking Festival workshops with warmth, skill and real dedication.
She worked tirelessly to reimagine the Slaithwaite Moonraking story with group participants as fun, clowning, comedy sketches. These were really excellent.
She worked sensitively and joyfully with the group with many participants describing the experience as "life-changing".
I would highly recommend her and wish her every success in her new projects."
Kath Shackleton, Producer - Slaithwaite Moonraking Festival 2025
"The clowning experience has been wonderful. We covered so many things, we learned how to breathe and relax....
We learned different kinds of dancing, mirroring your partner, dancing with your eyes closed, very strange, but you learn to trust as someone else has to guide you, this also applies to sensory exploration.... We played several games of grandmother’s footsteps on different themes was hilarious, wearing just a red nose and a hat and with a funny face that can set off people’s imagination....
Undoubtedly the star of the show was the yellow star cushion oop a la la, it evoked so many emotions like happiness, love sadness, caring joy and silliness.... I myself have truly enjoyed every minute and at my age of 81 have a new lease of life."
